Producing Graduates with High Employ-ability Skills
Designing programs aimed at identifying how and to what extent the community engagement key principles and core competencies are embedded in the learning curriculum of the university. Graduates with the basic knowledge, skills, and experiences are expected to become highly ethical and engaged citizens.
Acknowledging Community Differences
Identifying communities’ values, culture, knowledge and skills, and works with these communities to developed sustainable programmes. Early in the engagement process it is very important that companies seek views on how the local community is constituted from a broad cross-section of people and that engagement processes are tailored accordingly. Diverse voices will be invited to contribute to the discussion reflecting geography, demography and culture.
