What is UTM Care Charity Shop?

UTM Care Charity Shop is a platform for communities to be part of our efforts in ‘making a difference in people’s live’. UTM in general has consistently advocated the importance and spirit of giving amongst our campus community and beyond. Empowering community through sustainable charity is a concept adopted to ensure that our beneficiaries will have seamless access to the funds and donators are provided various options to donate.

UTM Care Charity Shop is a retail establishment run ass a charitable entity for fund raising. It is a social enterprise that sells mainly pre-loved items such as clothes, books, and furniture donated by members of the public, and are staffed by volunteers.

UTM Care Charity Shop is managed by Centre for Community and Industry Network (CCIN) where donated items are sold at low and affordable price. The revenue generated aims to assist the B40 and lower income community via our Endowment, Waqaf and Partnering Charity Groups. Quality goods at reasonable prices will enable us to give back to society. Help us make that happen!

Instruction to make donations!

We are in need of new and pre-loved items comprising of household, personal care, books, stationaries and clothing.

We welcome cash donations in one-off, sponsorship packages and monthly donations.

Volunteers are welcome to participate in our charity drive, as part of the teamto assist in promoting our programmes, assisting as sales personnel at the charity shop. Our volunteers will be awarded with Certificate of Appreciation and Badge of Honor (after surpassing a minimum of 100 hours of volunteerism) by the Vice Chancellor of UTM.
