KUALA LUMPUR, 27 September 2016 – Collaboration between University of Technology Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (UTMKL) and SMK Seri Keramat can still be seen when UTM gave 20 units of HP computers and 1 used unit server to them. This is only a part of the planning of Community Collaboration of UTMKL and SMK Sri Keramat which is handled by Centre for Community and Industry Network (CCIN).
The donation is done by Prof. Madya Dr. Sallehuddin Muhammad, Deputy Director of Administration, Pejabat Timbalan Naib Canselor Penyelidikan dan Inovasi (TNCPI), with the help of 9 other staffs from TNCPI. One of the staffs from Centre for Information & Communication Technology (CICT), En Mohd Rafi Abu Bakar also participated in this program. This donation hopes to help the school to execute any ICT learning activity and boost the quality of the teachers’ performance which later on can lead the students to have more interest in ICT subjects in school.
This program is taking the initiative of “Community Engagement” (CE) in parallel with the University’s core strategies in Pelan Global 50 which is Sumbangan Terbaik Kepada Komuniti and Memasyarakatkan Univerisiti where UTMKL will always be prepared in giving help to the communities around it in various fields. PTJ hopes that other parties also may want to take the opportunity to donate and give according to everyone’s expertise and capability in any programs in the future.
